Equal Remuneration Case

150,000 mainly female workers across Australia, on the 1st February 2012, were granted a historic pay increase with the Full Bench of Fair Work Australia handing down its decision on the Equal Remuneration Case.

The workers affected were those that work with some of the most vulnerable people in the community and are paid under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award.

The pay increases will be paid in 9 instalments over the next 8 years and by 2020, the community sector will see total increases of 18% up to 41%!

Blacktown & The Hills Agency Contact Lists Is Currently Being Updated

Community Resource Network (CRN) is currently updating the Blacktown Agency Contact List (BACL) & the Hills Agency Contact List (HACL) for 2012.

The Agency Contact List is a comprehensive and up to date listing of community agencies & services that operate in Blacktown & The Hills Local Government Areas (LGA's). CRN updates, publishes and distributes these wall charts free of charge to community organisations, government agencies and community members every year.

Whether or not your agency has been included on either list before, if you would like to appear on the BACL or HACL for 2012, CRN requires your agency name and phone details, along with your formal consent to print and distribute this information.

To register your organisation or service, please download the relevant document below, complete the form and return it to CRN before the due date.

Closing date for submissions is Friday 27th January, 2012
